Cementos Molins to acquire the aggregate and concrete business from HeidelbergCement for $21m.

Cementos Molins, a manufacturer of and distributes ready-mix concrete, portland cements, luminous cements, pre-cast concrete products, agreed to acquire the aggregate and concrete business from HeidelbergCement, a firm that produces and markets aggregates, for $21m. "This operation will allow Cementos Molins to reinforce its presence in Spain and consolidate its leadership in sustainable concrete solutions in Catalonia. The strategic location of the plants and quarries, close to the Barcelona metropolitan area, responds to our commitment to offer more efficient and sustainable solutions," Julio Rodríguez, Cementos Molins CEO.
