Stone Point Capital completed the acquisition of SambaSafety from ABRY Partners.

Stone Point Capital, an investment firm based in Greenwich, completed the acquisition of SambaSafety, a North American provider of cloud-based mobility risk management software, from ABRY Partners, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. Through the collection, correlation, and analysis of driver data and information, SambaSafety helps employers identify high-risk drivers and enforce safety policies, insurers to make informed decisions, and background screeners to perform accurate, efficient pre-hire checks. SambaSafety is the digital driver risk management partner of choice for many of the world’s largest organizations with over 15k customers.
