Q-Energy to acquire 16 wind farms from MEAG.

Synopsis

Q-Energy, an investor, project developer and asset manager for renewable energies, agreed to acquire 16 wind farms from MEAG, a global asset manager. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are delighted to have found an investor in Q-Energy who will repower and continue to operate the wind farms. This transaction follows the strategy of further optimizing our portfolio and utilizing earnings potential. We will continue to expand our investments in infrastructure projects such as wind and solar parks in the coming years, placing particular emphasis on regional and segment-specific diversification. It is intended to reinvest the funds raised in infrastructure," Holger Kerzel, MEAG Managing Director.
