Investment firm Dragoneer Investment Group led a $500m Series H round in Discord, a voice, video and text chat platform, with participation from Baillie Gifford, Coatue Management, Fidelity Management and Research and Franklin Templeton. This latest investment round surpasses the total funding raised by Discord in the past, with previous investors including Index Ventures and Greylock.
