Lee Partners, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of the semiconductor solutions business of Brooks Automation, a provider of automation, vacuum and instrumentation equipment, for $3bn. "Over the past 40 years, Brooks has built an impressive portfolio of automated solutions to address some of the most difficult engineering challenges facing the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
