BEWI, a provider of packaging, components, and insulation solutions, agreed to acquire a 50% stake in Jackon Holdings, a provider of insulation and building systems to the construction industry, from HAAS, a holding company owned by the Akselsen family, for €180m (c.$204m). “We are very excited about Akselsen’s decision to join our team in BEWI. Our families have known each other for years, and we are impressed by how they have developed Jackon into the company it is today. Now, we have the opportunity to further strengthen our companies together, a responsibility we are humble to take on,” Christian Bekken, BEWI CEO.
