PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia completed the acquisition of a majority stake in PT Solusi Tunas Pratama from Southern Capital Group and Carlyle Group for $1.2bn.

PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia, a telecommunications company, completed the acquisition of a majority stake in PT Solusi Tunas Pratama, a telecommunication towers operator, from private equity firms Southern Capital Group and Carlyle Group for $1.2bn. The purpose of this acquisition is to develop PRTL’s business and to expand the business network that will further strengthen Protelindo's position as Indonesia's largest independent tower company and in order to serve telecommunication operators in Indonesia.
