Iren completed the acquisition of Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy.

Iren, a multi-service Italian utilities holding company, completed the acquisition of companies operating in the energy efficiency sector Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy. Financial terms were not disclosed. The strategic rationale of the operation lies in the complementary nature of the activities carried out by Iren Smart Solutions and Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy. The latter, in fact, has a strong experience on EPC contracts (energy performance contract) for large companies, is active in the cogeneration market, in the energy efficiency of the tertiary sector, has expertise in the building automation sector both in the real estate and in the health sector, and thus completes the skills and customer base of Iren Smart Solutions.
