Softys Brasil completed the acquisition of Carta Fabril for $314m.

Softys Brasil, a provider of tissue paper and personal care products, completed the acquisition of Carta Fabril, a personal hygiene products provider, for $314m. “We are very happy with this acquisition. Carta Fabril is a leading company in the sale of hygiene paper products in Rio de Janeiro. As soon as the acquisition is authorized, we will reach an installed production capacity of 380,000 tons per year of paper for hygiene products, which will reinforce our leadership in the sector in the country,” Gonzalo Darraidou, Softys General Director.
