Landsec, a commercial property development and investment company, completed the acquisition of a 75% stake in MediaCity, a UK tech and media hub, for $580m. "There's more desire from people to have more of that immediacy within their local area rather than having to travel a long way to work. Mixed-use neighbourhoods are becoming increasingly important in terms of the fabric of cities," Mark Allan, Landsec CEO.
