Shell, an energy and petrochemical company, and Infrastructure Capital Group, an infrastructure investor and manager to acquire the Australian business of Meridian Energy, an electricity generator and retailer, for $528m. “Our aim is to become a leading provider of clean power-as-a-service and this acquisition broadens our customer portfolio in Australia to include households.
