Jacuzzi Brands to acquire Vortex Leisure.

Jacuzzi Brands, a global manufacturer and distributor of branded baths, hot tubs, pools, saunas and, formerly, aircraft, agreed to acquire Vortex Leisure, a Nelson spa-pool company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "In many countries, Jacuzzi is the generic name for spa strong brand proposition and prominence. We can utilise everything that they bring to continue to grow us in our home markets but we also have a combined desire to push out into Asia," Andrew Pullen, Vortex Managing Director.
