DAL Group to acquire Sudanese business from Zain for $1.3bn.

DAL Group, a firm that operates across several business sectors including food, engineering and agriculture, agreed to acquire Sudanese business from Zain, a mobile telecommunications company, for $1.3bn. Zain's board has agreed to complete due diligence on the offer from DAL Group. The offer does not include its South Sudan business "We are very bullish about Sudan and the future of Sudan and we want to engage with the country on its journey to success," Amir Daoud Abdel Latif, DAL Group Director.
