Walmart to acquire Babytuto.

Walmart, a global retailer which operates a chain of hypermarkets, department stores and grocery stores, agreed to acquire Babytuto, a Chilean e-commerce baby products platform, which produce baby products and toys. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We have accelerated our transformation - growing steadily in recent times - promoting a business focused on connecting in more and better ways with the new omnichannel consumer. Modern retail demands a diversified ecosystem and the incorporation of Babytuto into the Walmart Chile family will allow us to strengthen our 'one stop shopping' proposal for our customers ," Gonzalo Gebara, Walmart Chile CEO.
