Synopsis

Bear Creek Mining, a junior mining exploration company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, completed the acquisition of the Mercedes mine in Sonora, Mexico from Equinox Gold, a Canadian mining company, for $100m. "Moving from a development stage company into a precious metals producer is an important step in Bear Creek's evolution," Anthony Hawkshaw, President and CEO.
