Mayr-Melnhof Holz completed the acquisition of Bergkvist Siljan from Orlando Nordics.

Mayr-Melnhof Holz, an European sawmill and wood products company, completed the acquisition of Bergkvist Siljan, a Swedish sawmills company, from Orlando Nordics, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Mayr-Melnhof Holz Group and Bergkvist Siljan fit well together. Both have a comparable history, both are family businesses with a long tradition of over 100 years and both are dedicated to sustainability work.
