HIG-backed Kora Saude, a hospital chain, agreed to acquire Hospital Sao Francisco, a hospital chain, for $59m. The acquisition of HSF is strategic, as it allows the Kora Saude to consolidate itself as the leader in terms of the number of beds in the satellite cities of Distrito Federal, with approximately 450 beds under management.
