Kohlberg-backed US Retirement & Benefits Partners, one of the largest national independent financial services firms specializing in employee benefits, agreed to acquire MidAmerica Administrative & Retirement Solutions, a provider of retirement and health & welfare plans, from Alpine Investors, a private equity firm.
