Credit Agricole-backed La Fabrique to acquire SFPMEI from Blackfin Capital.

Credit Agricole-backed La Fabrique, a financial and fintech, agreed to acquire SFPMEI, an operator of an electronic money institution, from Blackfin Capital, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “For La Fabrique by CA, this acquisition is a way to secure SFPMEI's long-term relationship with our start-up Blank. Launched a year ago, Blank is experiencing strong growth, which can be explained in particular by the innovative, simple and rapid services put in place thanks to this partnership. SFPMEI will allow La Fabrique by CA to launch new initiatives quickly and at a lower cost," Laurent Darmon, La Fabrique by CA CEO.
