Iwatani, a supplier of gases for industrial and household, agreed to acquire Tokico System Solutions, a supplier of products for the energy infrastructure and engineering industry, from Polaris Capital, a private equity firm. Iwatani has positioned the hydrogen-related business as an important area of focus in its efforts to realize a decarbonized society. Polaris believes that Tokico's know-how in the development and manufacturing of measuring and instrumentation equipment, as well as its expertise in the design, construction and maintenance of energy stations, will contribute to strengthening Iwatani’s hydrogen supply chain.
