Synopsis
General Catalyst, an American venture capital firm, and Tribe Capital, a venture capital firm, led a $132m series B funding round in Athelas, a developer of an in-home blood diagnostic devices, with participation from Sequoia Capital, YCombinator, Greenoaks, Human Capital, and Initialized Capital. "Athelas has been making steady progress in proving the impact that RPM can have in helping providers serve their chronic patients in their homes. Their integrated suite of software, services and devices are being used to serve tens of thousands of patients and the company is poised to be a leader in this category," Hemant Taneja, General Catalyst Managing Director.
