BWK, a venture capital company, completed the acquisition of a majority stake in KRUG Holzsystembinder, a provider of commercial construction service for wooden roof structures based in Germany. Financial terms were not disclosed. "KRUG has developed excellently since it was founded and is one of the leading providers in its segment. The material wood is just as promising due to the positive ecological balance as the industrial prefabrication of building elements due to the worsening shortage of skilled workers in the trade. We are therefore convinced that the company has great prospects and want to accompany KRUG constructively on the further path," Bernd Bergschneider, BWK Managing Director.
