Helen, an energy company owned by the city of Helsinki, and Ålandsbanken, an open-ended alternative investment fund investing in wind power, completed the acquisition of Kalistanneva, a wind farm project in Finland, from Valorem, an independent renewable energy development and operating company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The acquisition of Kalistanneva wind farm with our partner Bank of Åland’s Wind Power Fund is an important step in Helen’s path towards carbon-neutrality and continues our strategy to increase our wind power production, which will now be above 1.5 TWh annually after the Kalistanneva farm starts production,” Antti Sallilla, Helen Senior Vice President.
