UCC to acquire the fresh coffee business in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore of Suntory Beverage & Food for $164m.

UCC, a global coffee business, agreed to acquire the fresh coffee business in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore of Suntory Beverage & Food, a Japanese multinational brewing and distilling company group, for $164m. "We believe Suntory’s fresh coffee business has an outstanding position in the Australian, New Zealand and Singapore coffee markets driven by its brand portfolio, pioneering history in coffee and highly experienced management team," Gota Ueshima, UCC Group CEO.
