Mutares completed the acquisition of the Sheffield operations of Allegheny Technologies.

Mutares, a German-based holding company that acquires medium-sized companies in turnaround situations, completed the acquisition of the Sheffield operations of Allegheny Technologies, an American producer of specialty materials. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This transaction marks our second acquisition in 2022, strengthening our Engineering & Technology segment.
