Cinven, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of the pest control unit of Bayer, a German multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company, for $2.6bn. “Following Cinven’s recent acquisitions of TK Elevator and Arxada, Cinven is confirmed as a preferred partner for large European corporates on significant disposals, especially within the Industrials sector.
