GlobalConnect to acquire the fiber infrastructure from Wizer.

GlobalConnect, a provider of fiber-based data communication and data center services, agreed to acquire the fiber infrastructure from Wizer, a firm that offers internet services. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are dedicated to playing our part in accelerating digitization and promoting social inclusion across society. This latest acquisition significantly grows our footprint in Denmark, and we will continue to explore possible acquisitions across all our markets, given that they can contribute to an even stronger offering to our customers and fit into our strategy,” Martin Lippert, GlobalConnect CEO.
