New Deal

Announced

EY to acquire Cadence Australia.

Synopsis

Ernst & Young, a provider of professional services, agreed to acquire Cadence Australia, a provider of consulting services focused on economic advisory credentials. Financial terms were not disclosed. "In order to assist our clients through these dynamic times we needed to formalise a service that reduced risk and provided end to end assistance. We had been looking for some time to join with a specialist project management provider to enhance our offering to our clients, but it had to be the right people. Cadence is that firm. Through the acquisition of Cadence, we will now provide end to end assistance to our clients from strategy and business case development through to procurement and implementation. This reduces risk for clients and provides the synergies to assist in the smooth running of these major projects," Marco Maldonado, EY Real Estate Advisory and Project Management Leader, Oceania.
