Greencoat Renewables to acquire wind farm in Spain from Alfanar.

Greencoat Renewables, an Irish investment company, agreed to acquire a 21MW Soliedra park from Alfanar, a developer and IPP in the renewable field. Financial terms were not disclosed. “As the renewable generation market continues to develop, we expect to see greater opportunity in the unsubsidised renewables market and believe Greencoat Renewables is well positioned to benefit both across mainland Europe and in Ireland,” Paul O'Donnell, Greencoat Renewables Investment Manager.
