Synopsis

Zacatecas Silver, a silver miner, agreed to acquire Esperanza Project, a gold mining project, from Alamos Gold, a Canadian multinational gold producer for $60m. "This is a transformational transaction for our company. We look forward to advancing the high grade oxide gold deposit towards production while at the same time continuing our accelerating exploration at our silver project. With the transaction for Esperanza now closed, we also welcome Alamos Gold as the cornerstone shareholder of Zacatecas and thank them for their collaboration while executing this transaction. Zacatecas has two excellent projects, is well funded and has an excellent team of technical professionals executing the company’s business plan. We look forward to working with all stakeholders as we move forward concurrently at Esperanza and at Zacatecas," Bryan Slusarchuk, Zacatecas CEO.
