Renewal Funds, a venture capital firm, and Export Development Canada, a provider of financing and insurance services, led a Series A funding round in Tru Earth, a firm dedicated to eliminating plastic waste in landfills and oceans with their plastic-free, waterless laundry strips and other environmentally friendly household products.
