Terra Property Trust to merge with Terra Income Fund 6 in a $350m deal.

Terra Property Trust, a real estate credit-focused company, agreed to merge with Terra Income Fund 6, an externally managed, specialty finance company that invests primarily in commercial real estate loans, preferred equity real estate investments and select commercial real estate-related debt securities of private companies, in a $350m deal. The merger is expected to close during the third quarter of 2022, subject to approval by the stockholders of Terra BDC and other customary closing conditions.
