Synopsis

Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, a French public sector financial institution, and Société Fédérale de Participations et d'Investissement, an investment firm, agreed to acquire a 13.47% stake in EuroClear, a Belgium-based financial services company, from Intercontinental Exchange, a provider of market infrastructure, data services and technology solutions, and BNP Paribas, a global financial services firm, for €709m ($739m). "The long-term investment vision and commitment of CDC and SFPI-FPIM complement Euroclear’s position as a neutral, open financial market infrastructure, bringing safety, efficiency and connections to European and global financial markets," EuroClear.
