Cummins-backed Meritor completed the acquisition of the commercial vehicles business of Siemens for $200m.

Cummins-backed Meritor, a global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking, aftermarket and electric powertrain solutions for commercial vehicle and industrial markets, completed the acquisition of the commercial vehicles business of Siemens, an industrial manufacturing company, for $200m. "The Siemens Commercial Vehicles business offers capabilities and technology that will enhance our ability to offer superior electric solutions to the global commercial vehicle market," Chris Villavarayan, Meritor President and CEO.
