StepStone Group, an investment management firm, Lightspeed Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, and General Catalyst, a global investment company, led a $220m Series D round in Multiverse, a tech startup that seeks to provide an alternative to university training, with participation from Founders Circle Capital, Audacious Ventures, BOND, D1 Capital Partners, GV, and Index Ventures. “Apprenticeships can help thousands of companies better train workers for the jobs needed to thrive in the age of digital transformation. Multiverse has a demonstrated track record of success, building an unparalleled global platform to find, train and develop talent,” Hunter Somerville, StepStone Group Partner.
