Aurora Capital Partners-backed VLS Environmental Solutions completed the acquisition of Plaquemine Point Shipyard.

Aurora Capital Partners-backed VLS Environmental Solutions, a provider of marine services with barge cleaning and repair facilities, completed the acquisition of Plaquemine Point Shipyard, a provider of full-service barge cleaning and repair along the Mississippi River. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are excited to expand our Specialty Cleaning and Repair Services with the acquisition of Plaquemine Point Shipyard.
