ALPLA Group completed the acquisition of APON.

ALPLA Group, an Austrian producer of plastic packaging for pharmaceuticals, completed the acquisition of APON, a Polish pharmaceutical packaging producer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Alpla is strengthening the presence of its pharmaceutical division in Central and Eastern Europe following the acquisition of the Polish company Apon. Apon was founded in 1985 as a family business. Today, around 45 employees produce plastic packaging for the pharmaceutical industry at the Zyrardow site near Warsaw. Among other things, Apon manufactures primary packaging for medicines.
