Novedos-backed ProvideU to acquire Elektronik Mekanik in Västerås.

Novedos-backed ProvideU, a supplier of custom-made components and complete systems, agreed to acquire Elektronik Mekanik in Västerås, an industrial company that focuses on the manufacture and assembly of circuit boards. Financial terms were not disclosed. "I have worked at EM for 30 years, of which the last 5 years as CEO. We have close and good relationships with our customers and our organization is one big team where everyone pulls in the same direction. It will be fun but also challenging to become part of ProvideU and be part of a larger group. It also feels stimulating to become a partner in Novedo and to be part of the journey towards the IPO.
