Synopsis

Edit

FDJ, a sole lottery operator in France, agreed to acquire Aleda, a provider of point-of-sale systems and processing solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. Aleda operates in more than 2.5k points of sale in France, providing PoS systems for tobacconists and newsagents, secure web portals for prepaid services and money transfers for the general public, as well as innovative management and payment services for retailers. This planned acquisition is in line with the development strategy of FDJ’s Payment and Services business and reinforces the Group’s commitment to support retailers by offering them value-added services to help them manage and develop their points of sale.
