Insight Partners led a $30m Series B round in AssemblyAI.

Insight Partners, an American venture capital and private equity firm, led a $30m Series B round in AssemblyAI, a San Francisco, CA-based audio intelligence API provider, with participation from Accel and Y Combinator. The company intends to use the funds to build out its AI infrastructure to accelerate AI research, and grow its AI research team, which today include researchers from DeepMind, Google Brain, Meta AI, BMW, and Cisco.
