A consortium of investors to acquire EKT Cable from Euskaltel and MASMOVIL for $592m.

Asúa Inversiones, Beraunberri, Inveready and Onchena to acquire EKT Cable, a cable access network, from Euskaltel, a telecommunications provider, and MASMOVIL, a provider of telecommunication services, for $592m. Through this operation and once the deployment of the new fiber optic network is completed, 100% of the 2.3m homes that make up the current footprint of Euskaltel's network will be FTTH and will be able to enjoy the most advanced services of telecommunications.
