Synopsis

Edit

Thiess, a mining services provider, completed the acquisition of MACA, a mining and civil construction company, for $243m. "We believe our offer is an attractive opportunity for MACA shareholders as it provides certainty of cash, a strong premium and an ability to achieve liquidity for their entire MACA shareholding. We are pleased to have the support of the MACA Board for our Offer," Michael Wright, Thiess Executive Chairman and CEO. On August 18, 2022, NRW Holdings made a $260m offer for MACA, which was rebuffed.
