Alfa Laval to acquire BunkerMetric.

Alfa Laval, a provider of specialized products and solutions for heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling, agreed to acquire BunkerMetric, a Scandinavian software company bringing the power of advanced digital technologies to the marine bunkering segment. Financial terms were not disclosed. “BunkerMetric will be a valuable complement to our expanding portfolio of solutions built upon advanced digital technologies. This acquisition will strengthen our ability to support our customers in voyage routing and operational decision making, thereby helping them improve their vessels’ operational costs,” Sameer Kalra, Alfa Laval President of the Marine Division.
