Synopsis
BIC, a manufacturer and marketer of consumer's staple goods, agreed to acquire Advanced Magnetic Interaction, a company specializing in augmented interaction technology. Financial terms were not disclosed. This acquisition strengthens BIC's R&D capabilities in Digital Expression, one of the pillars of BIC's Horizon strategic plan, and will accelerate the deployment of AMI's patented technology.
