Circular Resources completed the acquisition of Der Grüne Punkt from HIG-backed Green Point.

Circular Resources, a company established to provide a one-stop-shop for the recycling of plastic waste, completed the acquisition of Der Grüne Punkt, a provider of waste management and recycling services, from HIG-backed Green Point, an American-owned agricultural input supplier. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The acquisition of Der Grüne Punkt by Circular Resources is a milestone for closed-loop recycling. Circular Resources will fully support Der Grüne Punkt’s current licensing, waste collection and mechanical recycling businesses, which are performing very strongly, and complement this by introducing large scale chemical recycling of waste plastics in Germany," Carlos Monreal, Circular Resources Founder and President.
