Investindustrial completed the acquisition of Comax France from Basalt Infrastructure Partners.

Investindustrial, a European group of independently managed investment, holding and advisory companies, completed the acquisition of Comax France, a major player in electricity production in metropolitan France, from Basalt Infrastructure Partners, a dedicated infrastructure investment firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2003 by Canadian power producer Maxim Power and based in Langon in the Aquitaine region, COMAX France is the fifth largest operator of gas-fired cogeneration and peaking power plants. The company has 30 power plants spread across France, 120 engines and turbines and more than twelve Lithium-Ion battery storage modules.
