Balderton Capital, an investment company, and Lakestar, a private equity firm, led a $79m funding round, in Tesseract, an energy company, with participation from Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon Capital, Ribbit and BoxGroup, Tom Stafford, Martin Mignot, Chris Sacca, John Doran and Nico Rosberg. “As Europe enters a critical phase for energy, and the world urgently confronts a warming planet, brave solutions are required.
