Idealista to acquire the real estate insurance business of Instituto de Desarrollo Asegurador.

Idealista, an operator of an online real estate platform, agreed to acquire the real estate insurance business of Instituto de Desarrollo Asegurador, a provider of risk consultant and insurance brokering services. Financial terms were not disclosed. With this acquisition, Idealista incorporates the technology, the business and the human team into its environment, including Javier Vázquez, until now General Director of the Insurance Development Institute, who joins the firm’s team to lead the development of this area insurance carrier.
