Glitre Energi, a power company, agreed to merge with Agder Energi, an hydroelectric power generation provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are satisfied that the owners have decided to merge the companies in line with the board's recommendation. Today's decision comes after a thorough merger process, and now together we want to seize the opportunities that lie ahead of us. Through the merger, we will secure current jobs and develop new ones, and create value in both regions," Lars Erik Torjussen, Agder Energi Chairman.
