Octopus Energy, a UK-based retail electricity and gas supplier specialising in sustainable energy, agreed to acquire 15.5% stake in the 270 MW Lincs Offshore Wind Farm from Macquarie Group. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Harnessing the UK’s strong wind resources out at sea is an integral part of securing energy independence.
